Information stored on your device
The extension stores information locally in Chrome so your settings remain available between uses. This may include:
- Your selected country, city, or time zone.
- Your 12-hour or 24-hour display preference.
- Your Mallardquest Time Converter license key and activation status.
- A randomly generated installation identifier used for license activation and validation.
License activation and validation
When you activate the extension, and periodically afterward, the extension communicates with api.mallardquest.com. It sends the license key and installation identifier needed to confirm that the license is valid and within the permitted device limit.
The extension does not send your browsing history, page content, TradeLocker account information, trading activity, financial information, or personal communications to Mallardquest.
Time-zone information
Time conversion is performed using the time-zone selection and browser/device time-zone information needed to display the requested local time. The extension does not use GPS location tracking.
Purchases
Purchases of Mallardquest Time Converter are completed outside the Chrome extension through third-party checkout and email services. Information you provide during a purchase is handled according to the policies of those services and is not collected from your browsing activity by the extension.
Sale or transfer of user data
Mallardquest does not sell user data. Information used by the extension is not used for advertising, creditworthiness, lending decisions, or purposes unrelated to providing and licensing Mallardquest Time Converter.
Changes to this policy
